AFTER suffering their second defeat of the season at the hands of ZPC Kariba, Highlanders are aiming to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Herentals, on Sunday.
Speaking to journalists Thursday morning, Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu said it has been tricky planning for Herentals, who beat them in both legs last season, as they have not watched them play this year.
“We have not watched them play this season, we have relied on the information we have from last season and probably from the people who have watched them play this season.
“This is the team we failed to beat last season as we blew away a 2 nil lead and they came to BF and beat us 1 nil,” he said.
Kaindu acknowledged that they are not an easy team to beat saying they are not push overs and they are a bit consistent.
“I think with the way they have been playing from last season, they have been picking up points home and away from home and we hope that we get back to our feet from the last week defeat.”
In terms of injuries, captain, Ariel Sibanda is still out while Talent Dube is racing to recover in time for Sunday after missing the Kariba defeat while Archford Faira, Gillian Nyathi and Darlington Mukuli have recovered.
