BULAWAYO Chiefs, plotting a quick return to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, will play their home games at their stadium, the Chiefs Village, which has been approved.
Chiefs’ chief executive officer, Thulani ‘Javas’ has confirmed the good news to the club’s fans.
“Good morning, Ninjas. I’m excited to let you know that we have been officially granted permission to host our home games at our very own CHIEFS VILLAGE. These are exciting times for us, as it offers you a chance to cheer for the boys in our own backyard,” Sibanda said.
The Ninjas take on Ajax Hotspurs tomorrow at Chiefs Village after losing their first game of the season to Megawatt FC in Hwange last weekend.
Despite the defeat, Chiefs rule the roost in the Southern Region Soccer League with 15 points after six games with five wins and a last week’s loss.
Sibanda said the club’s replicas will be on sale at the venue tomorrow.
“The journey to PSL continues, and so does our development and projects,” Sibanda said.
