HIGHLANDERS have expressed gratitude for the timely cash US$1 million injection made to the club by businessman Wicknell Chivayo to the financially crippled club.
Chivayo said he will immediately hand over US$250 000 cash for administrative purposes as part of the US$1 million for the club’s talent search and sign-on fees to boost the Bulawayo giants’ campaign in the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

The club added: “The funds will be allocated towards improving our employees welfare, improving our image and thrust towards self-sustainability. Highlanders FC is deeply grateful for this transformative gift which is a testament to the power of generosity and the difference that can be made when individuals and organisations come together to drive positive change.
