Zifa Appeals Committee awards Kwekwe Queens disputed match

The Zifa Appeals Committee has overturned a decision to call for a replay in the abandoned match between Herentals Queens and Kwekwe United Queens that had been issued by the Zimbabwe Women Soccer League disciplinary committee.
Kwekwe were awarded match on a 3-0 scoreline.
Herentals failed to provide a venue for their home match against Kwekwe United on 26 April, with the visitors arriving only to be told there is no proper ground to play in.
Following a disciplinary hearing, the ZWSL DC ordered a replay on top of Herentals paying a US$750 fine and ordering Herentals to meet the costs of the hearing and those Kwekwe United.
However, Kwekwe were unhappy with the decision and filed an appeal arguing they should be awarded the match.
According to ZWSL The ZIFA Appeals Committee ruled that the replay order is set aside and Kwekwe United is awarded the unfulfilled match of April 26th, 2025 with a 3-0 scoreline, in addition to the fines ordered by the Committee aquo.
