WARRIORS’ defender Teenage Hadebe played the last 28 minutes as his Cincinnati FC sent Lionel Messi’s Inter Milan packing with an emphatic 3-0 win in a Major League Soccer (MLS) match at TQL Stadium on Wednesday night.
Hadebe came in for forward Kei Kamara in the 62nd minute in a match that was watched by more than 25 000 fans.
A brace from Evander (his fifth of the season) and another goal by Gerardo ‘Dado’ Valenzuela ensured victory for Hadebe’s Cincinnati.
Messi’s record two goals’ streak in each of Inter-Miami’s last five games came to an ebrupt end with the defeat to Cincinnati.
Evander kept his own record by scoring in a fifth consecutive match.
Besides the legendary Argentine Messi, Inter Miami, co-owned by England legend David Beckham and businessman Mas Jose Mas, also has Uruguayan international Luis Suarez in their ranks.

Cincinnati are second on the log-table with 45 points from 23 games (14 wins, draws and six losses) in the Eastern Conference of the MLS.
They are just one point behind leaders Philadelphia Union while Inter Miami are on the fifth spot with 38 points from 20 games with 11 wins, five draws and four defeats.
Hadebe joined Cincinnati from Houston Dynamo last August and is a regular member of the Warriors, captaining the senior men’s team in two friendly matches against Burkina Faso and Niger in Morroco last month ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations finals in the North African country.
