Highlanders coach, Pieter De Jongh has called for fairness from all parties as they clash against Scottland Sunday in the Chibuku Super Cup quarter finals.
The highly anticipated game is billed for Barbourfields.
De Jongh said it was imperative the teams and match officials are fair as he questioned some of the decisions in their loss against FC Platinum where he was shown a yellow card.
“Football is an emotional game and I think it happens everywhere where a coach moves out of his area and approaches the fourth official.
“Other coaches have done it but no card for them. The linesman had headsets first half but second half they don’t have them so you wonder what is happening and then you see some decisions which you don’t think are fair,” he said.
Speaking on the match, De Jongh said anything is possible adding they are not lost to the fact Scottland have the top stars in local football.
He said Highlanders will be banking on support from its multitude of fans to carry them through the match.
Football fans will be eager to get a glimpse of Zimbabwe’s famed stars, Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona as they bring their skills to Barbourfields.
In other Chibuku Cup quarterfinals, Manica Diamonds takes on Triangle at Sakubva on Saturday while Dynamos hosts ZPC Kariba at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday Bikita Minerals will face MWOS at Gibbo.
