Zebra Revolution received a shot in the arm on Saturday afternoon thanks to a donation from Bard Santner Markets Incorporated. The club was presented with a new set of tracksuits by the company.
The kit donation marks the beginning of a larger partnership, as Bard Santner is impressed with Zebra Revolution’s work in supporting local youth.
Represented by their Bulawayo Branch Administrator, Nyaradzo Rwafa, the company expressed a keen interest in supporting youth initiatives in the city. “We want to promote the lives of young people, support them in staying focused, and help enrich their lives,” said Rwafa. “Zebra Revolution has a great program. They start with kids as young as eight and expose them to greater opportunities to achieve something in life. This is the kind of initiative we are proud to support.”
Zebra Revolution coach Mkhokheli Dube was grateful for the timely contribution. “This is a timely boost for our boys, who really needed it,” said Dube. “We hope Bard Santner will come on board as our official sponsor next year. A special mention to our chairman for pulling out all the stops to secure this donation.”
The team’s skipper also thanked the company on behalf of the players. “This kind of support motivates us to give a 100% performance on the field,” he said. “On behalf of the players, I would like to thank Bard Santner and express our hope that they will become our sponsors next year.”
The tracksuits were donated shortly before Zebra Revolution’s match against Imbizo at Luveve Stadium.
