Highlanders head coach, Benjani Mwaruwari has revealed his eagerness to win trophies with Highlanders.
Addressing journalists after arriving in Bulawayo this afternoon, Mwaruwari said he is focused on the job at hand and will be looking to beef up the squad before the season kicks off in March.
He said preseason is already underway and will be looking to take over from what the coaches have done so far.
Mwaruwari declared his love for Highlanders saying he grew up idolising the club and is glad to be returning to the club.
“I played for Highlanders in my junior years and it has always been my wish to be part of this great club,” he said.
“There is no time to rest as we have to continue with recruiting players that will do duty for us,” he said.
Mwaruwari comes in as head coach with Mkhokheli Dube as the head coach with more additions to the technical team to be announced in due course.
